Day Invites Senior Citizens to Informational Fairs This Fall

KUTZTOWN – As a way to raise awareness about the various programs and services available to senior citizens, their families and caregivers, Rep. Gary Day (R-Lehigh/Berks) invites them to attend three upcoming Senior Fairs in Lehigh and Berks counties.

Capt. Mark T. Resh Memorial Road to be Dedicated Saturday

WHAT: Rep. Gary Day (R-Berks/Lehigh), along with family members, will dedicate a section of Route 100 in Lehigh County as the Capt. Mark T. Resh Memorial Highway. The official designation is from the intersection of Main Street and Tilghman Street in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, to the intersection of Claussville Road and Kernsville Road in Lowhill Township, also in Lehigh County. It is the result of House Bill 181, legislation which Day sponsored, and which was amended into Act 73 of 2017.

Day, PA House Honor Caleb Clymer for State Wrestling Title

HARRISBURG – Northwestern High School senior, Caleb Clymer, who was recently crowned state champion in the 2017-18 PIAA State Class AA Individual Wrestling Tournament, was recognized Wednesday by the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for his athletic excellence, according to Rep. Upper Macungie Manufacturer to Receive State Solar Grant, Day Announces
