HARRISBURG – Rep. Gary W. Day (R-Lehigh/Berks) announces veterans assistance appointments for the fourth Tuesday of every month in his district office located at 6299 Route 309, Suite 302, in New Tripoli.
The veteran service officer will be in Day’s New Tripoli district office on Tuesday, Nov. 23, with appointments available from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Please note, there will be no December appointments due to the holidays. The veterans assistance appointments will resume in January.
Veterans or their dependents can schedule a meeting with a service officer from the American Legion to discuss issues and have questions answered about benefits and services for which they may be eligible.
Services available to veterans and their dependents include assistance with compensation, pension, death benefits, education and health care. Veterans do not need to be a member of the American Legion to receive these services.
Anyone interested in scheduling an appointment with a service officer should call Day’s district office at 610-760-7082.
Appointments are necessary and space is limited.
