WHAT: Rep. Gary Day (R-Berks/Lehigh), along with family members, will dedicate a section of Route 100 in Lehigh County as the Capt. Mark T. Resh Memorial Highway. The official designation is from the intersection of Main Street and Tilghman Street in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, to the intersection of Claussville Road and Kernsville Road in Lowhill Township, also in Lehigh County. It is the result of House Bill 181, legislation which Day sponsored, and which was amended into Act 73 of 2017.

WHO: Day, and the following members of Resh’s family: Charles T. Resh and Carol A. (White) Resh, parents; brother, Matthew E. Resh of Richmond, Illinois; grandmother, Nancy Weiner of Whitehall; aunt, Marian Piefley; uncles, David Resh and Craig White; and nephews, Keller Resh and Kevin Resh.

WHEN: Saturday, July 14, 10 a.m.

WHERE: The ceremony will take place in front of KeyBank, located at 861 North Route 100 in Fogelsville. Everyone attending the ceremony must park in the lot behind the bank.
