NEW TRIPOLI – To help teenagers better prepare for learning how to drive, Rep. Gary Day (R-Lehigh/Berks) now has available copies of the official Pennsylvania Driver’s Manual at his office in the Star Plaza in New Tripoli.

“Many teens who turned 16 over the summer may find themselves preparing for their driver’s licenses this fall,” Day said. “To help teens and their parents better learn and understand the rules of the road, copies of the driver’s manual are available at my office. I encourage them to stop by to pick one up.”

The manual includes information about how to obtain a learner’s permit, along with sections on signals, signs and pavement markings; learning to drive; driving; laws and related issues; and further references. Each chapter offers a review section with sample questions and answers.

Of interest to other drivers, Day also has copies available of manuals to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and for motorcycle operators.

“Many young people are either anxious to get their driver’s license before winter weather sets in, or may be interested in getting a CDL, which can be helpful to obtain employment after graduation,” Day said. “My office is happy to help in getting them started.”

The office is located in the Star Plaza, Suite 302, 6299 Route 309.
